Allegations and Grief: The Tragic Case of Puneet Khurana

Puneet Khurana, a 40-year-old businessman, was found dead in his home in Kalyan Vihar, northwest Delhi. The incident, which occurred on December 31, is currently under investigation by the local police.

The family of Khurana alleges foul play, accusing his wife and in-laws of consistent harassment and pressure over financial matters, which they claim drove him to suicide. His father and sister are demanding justice for what they believe to be a case of unbearable mental pressure that led to his tragic decision.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhisham Singh stated that upon receiving the report at around 4:18 pm, officers arrived to find Khurana unresponsive with a ligature mark around his neck. The police have confiscated his mobile and other belongings for further investigation. Meanwhile, the body has been transported to BJRM Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
