Tragic Escalation: Terror Strikes in Northwest Pakistan

The first attack occurred in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan district, where militants targeted a police checkpost, resulting in the deaths of a police constable and a laborer, with two others wounded, according to police sources.

In another grim chapter, a bomb explosion from a motorbike in Azam Warsak, South Waziristan, killed a child and injured four others. Meanwhile, Mamaskhel, Bannu district saw at least five policemen injured in a roadside bomb explosion. The incidents followed two policemen's deaths on Tuesday in Dera Ismail Khan and highlighted ongoing threats despite security measures that eliminated 270 terrorists in 2024.
