A 19-year-old disabled woman faced a horrific ordeal after allegedly being kidnapped and sold to a man who subjected her to repeated rapes, police reported on Tuesday.
The woman had been residing with her uncle when she went missing on December 21. It wasn't until December 30 that her uncle discovered her location in Khera Khalilpur village and quickly informed the authorities. Acting on this information, police and the family successfully rescued her from captivity.
During her testimony, the survivor revealed she was abducted by Dhanpati, who sold her to Dharmi and Shakuntala. The perpetrators transported her between Rewari and Khera Khalilpur village, where she endured severe abuse. Police have filed charges against the suspects under kidnapping, trafficking, and rape sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and efforts are underway to apprehend them, according to Inspector Praveen Malik of Sohna city police station.
