Capture of 'Spider-Man' Burglar Ends Crime Spree in Delhi

Delhi Police have successfully apprehended a burglar known as 'spider-man' because of his wall-climbing skills. The arrest was facilitated by thorough CCTV analysis and local intelligence, leading to multiple burglary cases being solved in the Kabir Nagar area.

The Delhi Police have arrested a notorious burglar nicknamed 'spider-man' for his adeptness at scaling walls, making it difficult to detect his unauthorized entry into homes in the Kabir Nagar area, an official stated on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest), Bhisham Singh, revealed that a team from Sangam Park apprehended the burglar, Yogesh, who has been linked to several burglaries through his unique modus operandi.

Following an investigation prompted by a resident's complaint from Bharat Nagar on December 27, the police used over 50 CCTV footage to identify the suspect. The arrest was made possible through local intelligence, leading to the recovery of the stolen items and Yogesh confessing to the crimes, including five previous cases.
