Delhi Police Crack Rice Robbery Case in Alipur
Delhi Police arrested three individuals involved in the theft of 71 rice bags from a godown in Alipur. The robbery involved a stolen Mahindra Bolero Pickup. Among the arrested, Ravi has a history of 40 theft cases. Further investigations are underway to recover more stolen goods.

Delhi Police announced on Monday that they have successfully dismantled a gang of robbers suspected of stealing 71 rice bags, each weighing 50 kilograms, from a godown. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the theft, which took place in outer north Delhi.
The suspects, identified as Ravi alias Gopal, Sanjay Kumar, and Rakesh Kumar, were apprehended in the Alipur area. According to officials, Ravi has a notorious past, being involved in 40 previous robbery and theft cases. A stolen Mahindra Bolero Pickup vehicle, allegedly used for transporting the looted rice, was impounded by the authorities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) Nidhin Valsan stated that the crime occurred at a godown in Alipur, involving the theft of 3,550 kilograms of rice distributed in 71 bags. An immediate response team led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Sushil Kumar Gaur located and captured the suspects using local intelligence and CCTV footage. The operation also led to the recovery of additional stolen items, including kids' wear from another location, as the investigation continues.
