A tragic incident unfolded at Bikaner's Mahajan field firing range, claiming the lives of two soldiers and injuring another during a training exercise. The soldiers were engaged in loading ammunition into a tank when a charger exploded, marking the second fatal mishap at the range within a week.

Local authorities quickly responded to the scene following reports of the incident. Defence spokesperson Lt Col Amitabh Sharma confirmed the tragic loss of lives, stating, 'Two soldiers have died in the incident and one is injured.'

The deceased have been identified as Ashutosh Mishra from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, and Jitendra from Dausa, Rajasthan. The injured soldier was airlifted to Chandigarh for medical attention. This incident follows Sunday's fatal accident involving gunner Chandra Prakash Patel, who died when his gun towing vehicle unexpectedly slid backward.
