The Anti-Narcotics Task Force of Delhi Police, working alongside the Narcotics Control Bureau, has announced the launch of a bold new initiative aimed at tackling the growing issues of drug abuse and trafficking within the city.
The campaign, as described by Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhisham Singh, pairs public awareness efforts with unannounced checks to prevent drug misuse, improve safety, and encourage community collaboration in the narcotics battle.
Notably, the drive targets New Friends Colony and the North Campus of Delhi University, known hotspots for illegal activities, by educating residents on the health dangers and legal implications of drug use while conducting surprise inspections at strategic locations.
