A land parcel in Kotana village, said to be linked to the family of the late former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf, has been bought for Rs 1.38 crore, officials reported.
The property, categorised as 'enemy property' since 2010, was auctioned online in September, with three unidentified buyers securing eight plots totaling 13 bighas.
Per local authorities, buyers have already deposited 25% of the price. The remaining balance is expected within three months for the registration in revenue records.
While connected socially to Musharraf's ancestry, the former military chief himself had no direct ties to the Kotana property, according to district officials.
