On Thursday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma faced public outrage after arriving an hour late to a 'Jan Sunwai' meeting in Kota, designed to address citizens' grievances.
The event, planned for 8 am, saw Sharma listening to complaints for about 20-25 minutes. Residents expressed concerns over police inaction, with one local, Saloni Mittal, alleging neglect in investigating an attack on her husband.
The RAS Association submitted a memorandum seeking action against Naresh Meena for allegedly slapping an official, while groups representing contractual staff demanded an end to their temporary employment status. Present at the event were State Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar and Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma.
