Election Commission Suspends IPS Officer for Duty Negligence
Rajasthan cadre IPS officer Kishan Sahai Meena has been suspended by the Election Commission for leaving his duty as police observer in Jharkhand constituencies without permission. The commission has ordered the state government to file a chargesheet against him for neglecting his official obligations.

The Election Commission has taken decisive action by suspending Rajasthan cadre IPS officer Kishan Sahai Meena for unauthorizedly abandoning his post during election duties in Jharkhand.
The officer was tasked as a police observer for the constituencies of Sisai, Gumla, and Bishunpur but left without prior approval.
The poll authority instructed the Rajasthan government to suspend Meena immediately and prepare a chargesheet citing dereliction of duty.
