Crime Control Shake-up: Shahdara Police Officers Transferred for Inaction
Nineteen police officers, including two assistant sub-inspectors, were reassigned to district lines in Shahdara for their poor performance in crime control. The transfers, impacting officers across various police stations, were ordered by Deputy Commissioner Prashant Gautam based on a performance evaluation report.

In a significant law enforcement shuffle, at least 19 police officers in Shahdara have been transferred to district lines due to their inability to effectively manage crime within their jurisdictions, a source revealed.
This group includes two assistant sub-inspectors, 14 head constables, and three constables, all of whom were stationed at Anand Vihar, Jagat Puri, MS Park, Shahdara, Seemapuri, and Vivek Vihar police stations.
The reassignment directive came from Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Gautam after a critical evaluation of the officers' performance in crime prevention and control efforts.
