An MP-MLA court has issued a notice to actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut for allegedly making objectionable remarks about Mahatma Gandhi and farmers involved in previous protests against agricultural laws. The complaint was filed by advocate Rama Shankar Sharma.
According to Sharma, the court is seeking Ranaut's response to the allegations and has set November 28 as the next date for hearing the case.
This legal action is based on a complaint filed on September 11, 2024, in Agra's MP MLA Court. Sharma accuses Ranaut of insulting millions of Indian farmers and the revered leader Mahatma Gandhi with her statements.
