He alleged that public funds are being misused for electoral influence ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections on November 20.
During a press conference, Rao stressed the necessity of the Election Commission's involvement in border monitoring to prevent the alleged flow of Telangana's resources into neighboring Maharashtra. He also highlighted issues of corruption relating to tenders under the AMRUT scheme.
Additionally, Rao criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly spending Rs 300 crore from the Telangana government on misleading advertisement campaigns in Maharashtra.
