Escalating Crisis: Israeli Airstrikes Intensify in Gaza and Lebanon
Israeli airstrikes have intensified in Gaza and Lebanon, killing dozens, as both regions face continued bombardment. With pressure from international aid agencies and the U.S., Israel faces demands to increase humanitarian aid in Gaza. The conflict, ongoing for over a year, results in fears of depopulation and famine.
Multiple Israeli airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon have resulted in significant casualties, with at least 14 people killed in Gaza, according to medical officials. In Lebanon, strikes targeted Beirut's southern suburbs after evacuations were ordered by the military.
The strikes align with ongoing pressure from the United States which has given a deadline for Israel to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza. A coalition of international aid agencies reported that Israel has not yet met these demands.
In Gaza, strikes hit a refuge zone killing eleven, while in Lebanon, similar actions resulted in the deaths of sixteen individuals, including Syrian refugees. The conflict continues, raising fears of famine as aid remains insufficient.
