Blood stains were discovered on her clothes, and valuables such as a gold mangalsutra and cash were reported missing. The police have assured that a definite conclusion on the allegations of rape will be reached after the post-mortem report is available.
The woman's family initially believed she had died naturally until they noticed signs of strangulation and blood stains, prompting a police complaint. An investigation is ongoing under the supervision of local police officials.
