Union Minister SP Singh Baghel has called for a change in the narrative around Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, often labeled as the 'Bulldozer wala CM'. Baghel, a BJP leader, argues that Adityanath should instead be recognized as a 'good administrator of law and order'.
Addressing media queries, Baghel clarified that bulldozers in the state serve dual purposes: building infrastructure like roads and bridges, and addressing crimes where judicial processes have failed. Adityanath's administration has used demolition tactics against those charged with criminal activities, despite some opposition criticism.
Baghel further noted that no government is above the Supreme Court, yet actions have been conducted under state-level Acts, including laws enacted by past leaders. He also expressed confidence in BJP and allies winning future elections, citing welfare benefactors who will support BJP initiatives in Maharashtra and Jharkhand polls.
