JMM Pledges 33% Reservation for Women in Govt Jobs

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) unveiled its manifesto on Monday in preparation for upcoming assembly elections. Among the highlights, it promises to reserve 33% of state government jobs for women.
The manifesto, introduced by party leader Shibu Soren, prioritizes nine key areas such as agriculture, education, and local residents' rights. JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya emphasized these focal points.
The document also pledges loans up to Rs 5 crore for MSME entrepreneurs and plans to waive loans for small and medium-level traders. Additionally, it proposes sports development projects, including a state sports university. The first phase of polling begins November 13.
