A 53-year-old man was apprehended by Mumbai Police after disrupting a high-profile meeting of BJP activists and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, officials reported on Monday.
The individual, identified as Shakti Prakash Bhargav from Kanpur, allegedly bypassed security at the Bandra Kurla Complex hotel event using a fraudulent media identification.
During the meeting, Bhargav raised attention by accusing authorities of mishandling the 'Lal Imli Mill scam' and was subsequently removed from the premises and detained. Police continue their investigation into Bhargav's motivations, linked to alleged financial fraud affecting Kanpur mill workers.
