NIA Cracks Down on Al-Qaida Links
The National Investigation Agency conducted searches in multiple Indian states to uncover links between local sympathizers and Bangladesh-based Al-Qaida operatives. The raids led to the discovery of incriminating documents and digital devices related to terror funding. Five individuals, including four Bangladeshi nationals, face charges of radicalizing youth and supporting terrorism.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched a series of searches across multiple states in India on Monday as part of an investigation into activities linked to the terror group Al-Qaida.
Locations in Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar, Tripura, and Assam were raided in a crackdown aimed at individuals suspected of supporting and funding Al-Qaida's activities. The raids resulted in the recovery of crucial evidence, including banking transaction records and digital devices.
Authorities have charged five individuals, among them four Bangladeshi nationals, for their involvement in radicalizing youth and furthering Al-Qaida's violent agenda within India.
