In a tragic incident, two teenage cousin sisters were discovered dead in a remote area of Udaipur district, Rajasthan, as confirmed by the police on Monday.
The sisters, aged 17 and 18, went missing the previous evening after leaving home to relieve themselves in the open. Their bodies were found approximately 500 meters from their residence in Gehloton ka Gudha village, within the Gogunda police station jurisdiction.
Authorities suspect that the girls may have consumed poison, although the exact cause of death will only be established upon receiving the postmortem report. The bodies were handed over to their family following the examination, while police continue their investigation into the matter.
