Security measures were significantly increased at the Canada High Commission in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, following a protest by Hindu-Sikh groups. This demonstration condemned the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, which has sparked widespread concern.
The protest, organized by the Hindu Sikh Global Forum, saw more than 1,200 participants, including 300 women. Many protesters climbed barricades and voiced their opposition to the violence in the temple.
Delhi Police maintained order by reinforcing barricades and deploying additional forces to prevent any breaches. A senior officer confirmed efforts to maintain law and order amid the protestors' demands for a thorough investigation into the incident.
