A fatal cylinder explosion in West Bengal's Birbhum district claimed the life of Bipadtaran Bagdi on Sunday, local police reported.

Police are investigating but have yet to make any arrests, focusing on Bhattacharya's role in the event. Trinamool Congress block president Saber Ali Khan has vowed justice for Bagdi's family.
