Temple Turmoil: Priest Attacked by Wandering Sadhu
A sadhu named Bhavani Shankar allegedly attacked temple priest Mahant Suresh Giri in Pali city. The conflict arose when the priest objected to the sadhu residing on temple grounds with dogs. The priest was hospitalized following the knife attack, and the sadhu was subsequently arrested.

In a disturbing incident in Pali city, a sadhu identified as Bhavani Shankar allegedly attacked a 60-year-old temple priest, Mahant Suresh Giri, with a knife-like object on Sunday morning, local police reported.
The altercation took place in Naga Baba Baghichi when the priest opposed the presence of the sadhu along with two dogs on the temple premises. The disagreement escalated into violence, resulting in the sadhu assaulting the priest.
Authorities stated that those present at the scene rushed the injured priest to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Bhavani Shankar has since been apprehended by the police in connection with the attack.
