Tragic Murder in Bareilly: Youth Killed with a Brick

In a tragic incident in the Aonla area of Bareilly district, a 22-year-old youth named Sharif Ahmed was killed after being struck on the head with a brick, police reported on Sunday.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Pareek, the police discovered drugs, including intravenous injections, at the crime scene. Ahmed's family confirmed he was a drug addict, which may contribute to the case's complexity.

Two neighborhood addicts have been detained for questioning as investigations proceed. The exact cause of death will be determined after a postmortem examination, and police are working to uncover the events leading to the murder.
