The protest, led by the Hindu Sikh Global Forum, took place in the Chanakyapuri area. In response, police implemented heightened security measures, erecting barricades to prevent any breach of law and order. Despite this, some protesters attempted to scale the barricades, showcasing the high tensions.
A senior police officer confirmed the deployment of additional forces to ensure no disruptions ensued. Recent events, including an attack on a Brampton temple on November 4, have fueled the anger and protests of the group.
