Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah convened a meeting on Saturday to review winter preparedness for the 2024-25 season in the union territory of Kashmir and Jammu. Officials discussed the importance of executing plans effectively to deal with challenges like depleted water levels due to a prolonged dry spell.
The meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat and attended by top officials, including Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani and Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo. Abdullah emphasized that the success of the government hinges on the implementation of the announced plans, especially with winter approaching.
