Kant, reportedly battling unemployment and drug addiction, had confronted his mother over his desire to relocate to Canada, a dream clashing with his family's expectations. The tragic culmination left Geeta dead. Krishna has been apprehended, while police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to this grievous crime.
