Delhi Gears Up: Special Voter Registration Camps Launched
Ahead of the February Delhi Assembly elections, a special two-day voter registration camp has been launched to enroll eligible voters. In a significant move to prepare for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February, authorities have initiated a special two-day voter registration camp starting Saturday.
According to a notice from the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, these camps are established at all polling stations throughout the city, welcoming eligible individuals to register from 10 am to 5 pm. This initiative aligns with the ongoing special summary revision of electoral rolls.
The notice highlights that residents of Delhi who are 18 or will be by January 1, 2025, can register using Form-6. Additional provisions are available for those anticipating future eligibility through subsequent qualifying dates in 2025. Corrections and modifications, along with deletions of multiple entries, can be handled using Form-7 and Form-8, with online applications also an option.
