Significant reformation took place on this day in 1956 for Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep. Later, Punjab and Haryana were created in 1966, while Chhattisgarh emerged from Madhya Pradesh in 2000.
In a message on social platform X, Murmu expressed her best wishes, hoping these regions continue contributing towards India's progress and enjoy peace and prosperity.
