In a significant ruling, a court has convicted three men involved in a 2018 attempted murder case, affirming the importance of witness testimonies over the non-recovery of the weapon of offence.
The case, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Rakesh Kumar, was related to the brutal attack on Amit and Dheeraj, which took place during a family celebration. The prosecution successfully demonstrated that the accused had coordinated the assault, severely injuring the victims with a mix of blunt and sharp-edged weapons.
Despite the defense's attempts to argue false implication, the court's confidence rested in the direct testimonies of the injured parties, which bolstered the prosecution's case. Sentencing arguments are scheduled following the completion of necessary documentation by November 11.
