In Kolkata, junior doctors teamed up with civilians in a torch rally on Wednesday evening, demanding swift CBI justice for the victim, a medic raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College on August 9.
The demonstration led by the West Bengal Junior Doctors' Forum began at the West Bengal Medical Council's office, moving to the CBI area at the CGO Complex.
Chanting 'We want justice,' participants urged the CBI to hasten its investigation. Protesters plan to switch off lights and light up the night with diyas on Kali Puja, pushing for unity in their quest for justice.
