In an extensive crackdown on Naxalite activities, law enforcement in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district has arrested eight individuals linked to the insurgent group, officials disclosed on Wednesday.
Three separate coordinated operations were executed by joint teams comprising the state police's District Reserve Guard, the Central Reserve Police Force, and CoBRA units, leading to arrests in Chintalnar, Konta, and Chintagufa.
The police seized detonator wires, explosives, and Maoist paraphernalia during these arrests, underscoring the ongoing security challenges in the Bastar region.
