The Telangana government is gearing up to launch an extensive socio-economic and caste survey from November 6, announced Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday.
During a virtual meeting with district Collectors, Vikramarka emphasized the need for precision in the survey, asserting that it aims to inform policies and uplift marginalized communities.
The survey is part of a larger initiative aligned with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's pledge to execute caste surveys nationwide, with 80,000 trained government employees participating in Telangana.
