The Supreme Court on Friday declined to entertain the bail application of Sharjeel Imam related to the Delhi riots case, urging the Delhi High Court to examine it promptly.

A bench led by Justices Bela M Trivedi and S C Sharma dismissed the plea, advising Imam's legal team to seek a speedy resolution at the high court.

The high-profile case, which involves numerous charges under the UAPA, will be heard by the high court on November 25, amid allegations of procedural delays.
