Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir honored soldiers and porters who perished in a recent terror attack near Gulmarg. The tribute took place at the Army's Srinagar-based Chinar Corps unit.
The deadly assault occurred when terrorists targeted the Army vehicle as it traveled in the Bota Pathri area. The victims included two soldiers and two porters, leaving a nation mourning their loss.
Riflemen Kaisar Ahmad Shah and Jeevan Singh, along with porters Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary and Zahoor Ahmad Mir, were remembered for their bravery. Governor Sinha reassured support for their families and lauded their selfless service.
