Russia Unleashes 15th Drone Assault on Kyiv
Russia launched its 15th drone attack on Kyiv this month, with two waves hitting the city overnight, as confirmed by city officials. No injuries were reported during the four-hour strike, although debris caused a fire, later extinguished. This attack forms part of Russia’s ongoing aggression since February 2022.
In another wave of military aggression, Russia sent two waves of drones targeting Kyiv overnight. This marks the 15th drone assault on the Ukrainian capital this month, officials confirmed on Friday.
Serhiy Popko, the city's military administrator, announced that more than a dozen drones were downed in a strike lasting around four hours. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries, although debris from the attack did ignite a fire, which was successfully extinguished.
Despite Moscow's denial of targeting civilians, its campaign of missile and drone strikes continues in its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which began in February 2022, impacting towns and cities beyond the front line.
