During the 63rd raising day celebration of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at the North East Frontier Headquarters, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik honored the force for their bravery and dedication to national security. The governor praised their professionalism in various demanding missions.
The occasion recognized the ITBP's role in diverse operations across Afghanistan, United Nations deployment, and combating extremism. Governor Parnaik also urged the troops to incorporate modern technology and persist in their mission to secure India's borders as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Additionally, Governor Parnaik highlighted Prime Minister Modi's vibrant border village programme, urging ITBP personnel to ensure safety and facilitate the development of remote communities. The event concluded with an impressive Guard of Honour attended by Inspector General Dr. Akun Sabharwal.
