Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a sophisticated fake visa syndicate, leading to the arrest of a key player, Prateek Shah, in Surat, Gujarat. The crackdown follows the earlier capture of five other members involved in the illegal operation.
The syndicate came under investigation after a traveler, Kuldeep, was caught at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport with a fake Canadian visa. The operation was masterminded by Sandeep, who, along with his associates, assured Kuldeep a job in Canada in exchange for a substantial payment.
During the investigation, authorities uncovered a factory in Surat operated by Shah, who specialized in creating counterfeit visa stickers. A police raid led to the seizure of equipment, fake visas, rubber stamps, and other materials, pointing to a widespread illegal operation.
