Kim labeled the U.S. nuclear capabilities as an 'ever-increasing threat' to North Korea's security environment and called for robust counteraction measures. Emphasizing the necessity of modernizing North Korea's armed forces, he highlighted the strategic missile force as a key aspect of national defense strategy.
Accompanying him on these visits were Kim Yo Jong, his influential sister, and Kim Jong Sik, a high-ranking official in the ruling Workers' Party of Korea. However, the exact timing of these visits was not disclosed by KCNA.
