An oxygen cylinder explosion in the Sikandrabad area of Bulandshahr claimed the lives of six family members, including a three-year-old child and a pregnant woman, on Monday night. The blast partially brought down their two-storey home, creating chaos and despair within their community.

Rukhsana, recently discharged from the hospital, was among the deceased alongside her husband Riyazuddin, their three children, and granddaughter. Eyewitnesses and first responders described a scene of panic and confusion as rescuers sought to save lives amidst the debris.

Rescue efforts involved local authorities, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and other emergency services. Despite the swift response, the tragic loss has left the family and community in mourning. Investigations into the accident are ongoing, and officials are providing aid to those injured.
