A tragic incident unfolded at the Ordnance Factory Khamaria in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, when a powerful explosion claimed the life of a worker, left another missing, and injured 14 others.
According to factory officials, the blast occurred during the 'boil out' process of a Russian missile—a routine procedure. The factory's general manager, M N Haldar, confirmed its regularity and timing at around 10:45 AM.
The injured were promptly treated, with hospitals providing critical care. A government-led investigation is underway, aiming to uncover the cause of this devastating incident. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has offered condolences and prioritized care for the injured.
