In a remarkable turn of events, Faizan, a man accused of raising a pro-Pakistan slogan, complied with a Madhya Pradesh High Court order on Tuesday by saluting the Indian flag 21 times at a local police station. This act was accompanied by the 'Bharat Mata ki jai' slogan.

Faizan's compliance was mandated as a condition of his bail, as ruled by Justice D K Paliwal. The court seeks to imbue Faizan with a sense of national pride and responsibility. The saluting ceremony, documented by media, took place at Misrod police station and will recur every first and fourth Tuesday of each month until the trial concludes.

Expressing remorse, Faizan admitted his previous actions were mistaken, advising friends against similar transgressions. His legal troubles began when he was arrested for promoting enmity by shouting pro-Pakistan slogans, an act deemed detrimental to national harmony.
