The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has received a hoax email alleging plans to target its three schools in Delhi and Telangana with improvised explosives, according to officials on Tuesday.
Despite the threatening email, schools located in Rohini and Dwarka in Delhi, and Medchal near Hyderabad, are reportedly safe and operating as usual, according to sources.
The suspicious email was received on Monday night and claimed explosives would detonate by 11 am Tuesday. However, anti-sabotage inspections found no threats. Authorities are investigating potential connections to Khalistani supporters after a blast occurred recently at a CRPF school in Rohini, Delhi.
