Chaos in Gaza: Hospitals under Siege
Israeli forces intensified operations in northern Gaza, surrounding hospitals and cutting off essential aid, escalating the humanitarian crisis. Medics report deaths due to lack of supplies, as UN agencies cite unlawful interference. Israel claims progress against Hamas, facing widespread international scrutiny.
The Israeli military has escalated operations in the northern Gaza Strip, besieging hospitals and shelters, according to multiple reports from medics and residents. This intensification has prevented crucial aid from reaching civilians. At the Jabalia refugee camp, troops detained men and forced women to evacuate.
The United Nations relief agency UNRWA expressed concerns over the blockade preventing humanitarian operations in north Gaza. Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA head, stated on social media that efforts of civilians to flee are met with lethal force, leaving bodies on the streets.
With power outages at hospitals due to military actions, the critical shortage of medical supplies has led to patient deaths. International pressures are mounting on Israel to alter its approach, but military actions continue, with a focus on eliminating Hamas infrastructure, despite humanitarian costs.
