The firearms used in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique were sourced from Rajasthan, according to a recent announcement by the Mumbai police. The investigation revealed that two arrested suspects traveled to Rajasthan to procure two foreign-made pistols used in the crime.
Baba Siddique was fatally shot by three gunmen on October 12 near his son's office in Mumbai's Bandra area. The police have apprehended 10 individuals linked to the case, including alleged shooters Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap, while the third shooter remains at large.
The police, in collaboration with their Rajasthan counterparts, are actively searching for the supplier of the weapons. They continue to probe the origins of the firearms and confront the suspects' misleading testimonies to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy.
