In a dramatic turn of events, Delhi Police apprehended two individuals linked to a high-profile robbery involving crores of rupees from a retired DRDO scientist's residence. The incident unfolded on October 18 in Delhi's Rohini area, with a group of five men entering the scientist's home under the guise of delivery personnel.
The two arrested, Jasmeen Singh alias Gifty and Gaurav Kawatra, a former employee of the scientist, played pivotal roles in the heist, supplying crucial information to the robbers. While investigations continue to track down the remaining suspects, authorities have already made significant progress.
Through intensive surveillance, police were able to retrieve substantial amounts of the stolen cash, some from a bank account and a portion directly from the possession of the accused. The crackdown operation also led to the capture of three more suspects and further recovery of the looted amount, authorities confirmed.
