Security measures in Delhi have been significantly tightened after a strong explosion occurred in front of the CRPF school in Rohini's Prashant Vihar, officials confirmed on Monday. Although the blast damaged nearby properties, it resulted in no injuries.
In response, police have enhanced their vigilance across railway and metro stations. Joint patrols with the Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police have been deployed to ensure any suspicious activity is immediately reported to senior officials, as stated by a senior police officer.
Security has also been increased in major markets and crowded places. Both uniformed and plain-clothed officers are intensifying patrols, especially ahead of Diwali, to maintain law and order amidst potential threats.
