Karwa Chauth Tragedy: Wife Accused of Poisoning Husband in Ismailpur

An Ismailpur woman, Savita, is in custody following accusations of poisoning her husband, Shailesh, on Karwa Chauth night, officials reported on Monday.
Sirathu Circle Officer Awadhesh Kumar Vishwakarma revealed that Shailesh, aged 32, fell ill after consuming dinner prepared by Savita in their Kada Dham village residence. He passed away during treatment at the community health center.
A complaint filed by Shailesh's family led to charges under Sections 105 and 123 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Savita faces allegations of culpable homicide and poisoning, and is currently being interrogated by officials.
