In a solemn response to last week's brutal attack on construction workers in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha promised a fitting retribution that terrorists will remember. Seven lives, including a local doctor and six non-local laborers, were tragically lost in the attack.

Governor Sinha, while addressing a public function, accused Pakistan of fueling violence, aiming to destabilize peace in the region. He emphasized the urgent need to tackle drug smuggling and bolster counter-insurgency measures to protect innocent civilians.

Sinha paid homage to security forces killed in the line of duty, assuring support for their families. Stressing the national importance of security, Sinha urged citizens to honor the sacrifices made by law enforcement, irrespective of community lines, for a peaceful Jammu and Kashmir.
