Expressing concern over recent disturbances, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of maintaining trust in law enforcement. Addressing the public, he urged them to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and assured that the police are equipped to tackle the culprits of an idol desecration in Secunderabad.
His remarks came in response to tensions in the wake of an attempt to vandalize a hotel linked to the incident. Over 15 police personnel were injured during the protests, highlighting the volatility of the situation. The Chief Minister appealed for calm and cooperation with officials to prevent further escalation of violence.
Reddy underscored the government's commitment to addressing any grievances and reiterated their readiness to take decisive action. He commended the police force for their efforts in controlling cybercrimes and advocated the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance traffic management in Hyderabad.
